GOIL Plc has donated ten (10) multi-purpose hospital beds valued at over Forty Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHs40,000) to Asuom Health Centre at Asuom in the Kwaebibirem Municipality of the Eastern region.

Making the presentation at Asuom, on behalf of the Group CEO and MD of GOIL, the Public Relations Manager, Mr. Robert Kyere said, the donation followed appeals from the health centre through two prominent individuals from the town, Oheneba Charles, and Maxwell Atuanor Dwirah who work for the company.

Receiving the beds on behalf of the centre, the Asuomhene, Osabarima Ofosuhene Apenteng II, expressed appreciation to GOIL for the timely donation noting the health Centre had been in dire need of beds.

He thanked the Group CEO/MD of GOIL, Kwame Osei Prempeh for the gesture and appealed to individuals and corporate bodies who are natives of Asuom to come to the aid of the health Centre and help develop the town.

Present at the ceremony were, Mr. Kwasi Ansah Antwi Boasiako-Medical Assistant of Asuom Health Centre, Osabarima Baah Ntiku-Asuom Mintahene, Madam Sabina Jones-Health Committee Chairperson and some Assembly members of Asuom.
