 POLICY

As a conscientious and responsive energy company, GOIL PLC (GOIL) is committed to providing our customers with safe and environmentally friendly petroleum and other energy products and services to meet their energy needs.

We conduct our business activities in a responsible, honest, transparent and trustworthy manner, which assures the health, safety and security of people, preservation of the environment, quality products and services as well as compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.  

To achieve this business ethic and culture, we utilize an integrated HSSEQ Management System that is designed to 

  1. Establish, maintain and improve our Integrated Management System with the latest revision of ISO 9001, Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and ISO 45001, Occupational Health and Safety management system standard requirements.
  2. Continually monitor and strive to meet the needs and expectations of our interested parties, including customers, analyse, plan and improve our processes accordingly. 
  3. Regularly monitor and evaluate risks and opportunities associated with the context of our organisation and business processes at least annually and act proactively.
  4. Achieve and continually improve performance related to the objectives of this policy by leadership commitment and active involvement of as well as consultation with and participation of our professionally qualified, highly skilled, well-trained and motivated staff and their Representatives. 
  5. Always comply with applicable Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety standards to which GOIL subscribes to and legal requirements.
  6. Ensure prudent use of resources.
  7. Protect personnel, property, information and reputation against security threats 
  8. Do all that is responsibly practicable to establish and maintain a healthy and safe workplace for its employees and other relevant interested parties.
  9. Promote pollution prevention and environmental conservation to minimize the environmental impact of our operations.
  10. Regularly review the HSSEQ program, historical data, and other information to achieve continual improvements to the Integrated Management System and the workplace environment to enhance performance.
  11. Establish safe and healthy working conditions for prevention of work-related injury and ill-health and elimination of hazards and reduction of risk.
