GOIL PLC, in collaboration with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), has engaged commercial drivers at the Cape Coast Tantri Trotro Station as part of a sensitization programme aimed at promoting fuel quality awareness and educating drivers on the new number plate system.
The engagement provided GOIL with an opportunity to interact directly with commercial drivers, an important customer segment, and deepen their understanding of the role quality fuels play in vehicle performance and efficiency.
The GOIL team took drivers through the benefits of the Company’s quality fuel products, with particular emphasis on XP3 additive technology. Drivers were educated on how XP3 enhances fuel performance and supports engine efficiency, reinforcing GOIL’s commitment to providing quality fuel products that deliver value to motorists.
The interactive session also allowed drivers to share their experiences and ask questions on fuel quality, vehicle performance, and XP3 additive technology. The direct engagement provided an opportunity for GOIL to address customer concerns while strengthening its relationship with commercial transport operators.
As part of the programme, officials of the DVLA sensitized the drivers on the new number plate system ahead of its planned nationwide rollout. They explained key aspects of the new system and provided drivers with the opportunity to seek clarification on its implementation and related requirements.
The collaboration provided a valuable platform for GOIL and the DVLA to engage directly with commercial drivers on issues relevant to their daily operations, combining road compliance education with practical information on fuel quality and vehicle performance.
The programme forms part of GOIL’s broader commitment to customer engagement and product education, particularly among commercial transport operators who depend on reliable and quality fuels to keep their businesses and livelihoods moving.
