GOIL PLC is pleased to announce the official assumption of office by Mr. Edward Abambire Bawa as the Acting Group Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director (CEO & MD). His appointment marks a seamless transition following the end of tenure of Mr. Jacob Kwabena Adjei, who has served GOIL in various capacities for 18 years before being appointed as Managing Director in December, 2024.

At a durbar held to formally introduce Mr. Bawa to staff after his engagement with the management team, he expressed deep appreciation for the contributions of his predecessor in steering GOIL onto a path of growth and resilience. He reaffirmed his commitment to driving innovation, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring the company’s sustainable expansion.
