Dr. Ama Boadu of the Accra Psychiatric Hospital, expressing appreciation to the GOIL Team after the presentation

The Senior Staff Association of Ghana Oil Company Limited, (GOIL), has donated food items, detergents and other assorted items to the authorities of the Accra Psychiatric Hospital to be distributed to patients of the facility.

The items, valued at over GHC6,500 ( Six Thousand Five Hundred Cedis), were 10 bags of rice, 2 bags of sugar, 40 crates of eggs and 25 crates of soft drinks.

The rest were 50 bags of water, 10 packets of biscuits and 21 packs of toilet rolls.

Assisted by some members of the senior staff of the company, the Vice Chairman of the Association, Thomas Domfeh who presented the items stressed the corporate social responsibility intention of the donation and said the association was sharing with patients the joy of the season.

The items were received by Dr. Ama Boadu the Head of Public Relations of the Accra Psychiatric Hospital. She was grateful to senior staff of GOIL for the gesture adding the donation will go a long way to bring smiles back on the faces of the patients.

In attendance was Ms. Beatrice Nyarko, Deputy Director of Nursing Services at the Hospital.
