GOIL Company Limited, GOIL, has handed over one thousand beds to be distributed to public hospitals
in the country. They consist of children, delivery and the normal hospital beds.
The beds, which cost 1.458 million Cedis are expected to ease conditions at the various public
hospitals and help reduce the incidence of patients sleeping on the floors of some of the
hospitals.
The Acting Managing Director and Group Chief Executive of GOIL, Mr. Kwame Osei-Prempeh
who handed over the beds said the donation was the Company’s support to Health institutions
and was part of GOIL’s Corporate Social Responsibility agenda.
A Deputy Minister of Health, Madam Tina Mensah who received the beds lauded GOIL for its
purposeful role in the economy saying the company has over the years demonstrated its aim of
investing its earnings into society to benefit the people.
